Meet the People Behind the Prints

It all started in my parents' basement, tinkering with a kit printer squeezed in next to old bike parts. That curiosity never really left me. Even after studying Software Engineering at UVic, I knew I wanted to build things with my hands.

I’m still involved in every single project that comes through our doors. For me, the real joy isn't just in the technology—it’s in that moment when a client sees their idea held in their hands for the first time.

When you call Morin 3D, it’s me who picks up. I’m here to figure out the puzzle and help you get exactly what you need.

Aditya Dangra

Design Consultant

Aditya has a gift for turning complex problems into simple, working models. With a background in Mechanical Engineering from UVic, he’s helped everyone from heavy-industry giants to local startups get their designs right.

He believes the best design is often the simplest one. Partnering with us, he takes sketches and scans and turns them into clean, ready-to-print files. He’s great at explaining the technical stuff in plain English, so you never feel lost in the jargon. Working with him feels less like a transaction and more like a creative collaboration.

Grounded in Solving Real Problems

"We saw good machines and classic cars sitting idle just because one small part was broken or missing. It felt wrong to scrap them. We knew there had to be a better way to keep things running."

That simple frustration is where we started. In 2018, we began fixing those hard-to-find parts in a small basement workshop. What started as one-off repairs for friends turned into a desire to change how we think about spare parts and prototypes.

We’ve grown a lot since then, investing in better scanners and printers, but our core mission hasn’t changed. Our work goes beyond just printing parts; we’re helping people repair, restore, and invent. Whether it’s a custom piece for a hobbyist or a production run for the Navy, we approach every job with the same care and curiosity.

We’re proud to be a part of this community, turning what used to be waste into working solutions, one layer at a time.
