Quick Technology Guide
Each 3D printing technology excels at different things. Here's a quick guide to help you choose.
Cost-effective thermoplastic parts. Best for functional prototypes, enclosures, brackets, and large parts.
Ultra-high resolution with smooth surfaces. Perfect for detailed prototypes, molds, jewelry masters, and presentation models.
Durable nylon parts with complete design freedom. Ideal for complex geometries and end-use parts that take a beating.
Fully dense metal parts in stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, and Inconel. For high-strength and high-temperature applications.
Don't have a 3D file?
No problem. We offer CAD design services to create production-ready files from sketches, photos, or measurements. We also offer 3D scanning to digitize physical objects.

Frequently Asked Questions
What file types do you accept?
We accept STL, STEP, IGES, OBJ, and 3MF files. STEP files are preferred for engineering parts as they preserve more design data. Not sure what you have? Upload what you can—we'll reach out if conversion is needed.
How accurate are the instant quotes?
Our quotes are based on your file geometry, selected material, and quantity. For straightforward parts, the instant quote is typically final. For complex geometries, we may review and confirm final pricing before printing.
Can I upload multiple files at once?
Yes! You can upload multiple parts in one order. If you have an assembly with different materials or quantities, include notes in the project description and we'll sort it out.
How long does shipping take?
We ship across Canada via tracked courier. Typical production time is 2-4 business days, depending on the technology, material, and quantity. Typical delivery is 2–5 business days after printing. Local Victoria customers can pick up as soon as their order is ready.
What if I need help choosing a technology?
Use the technology guide above, or just reach out. We're happy to recommend the best process based on your part's requirements, budget, and timeline.
Do you offer volume discounts?
Yes—pricing per part decreases as quantity increases. The quote tool shows volume pricing automatically. For larger orders (500+ parts) or recurring purchase discounts, contact us directly for bulk pricing.
