3D Scanning Services
High-Resolution Digital Twins
That discontinued part. That irreplaceable antique. That architectural detail no one makes anymore. We scan it, digitize it, and help you recreate it. Exactly as it was, or better than before.
Your Project Starts With a Scan
Whether you're restoring history, replacing the irreplaceable, or preserving something precious, 3D scanning is the first step. Here's what becomes possible.
Restore Historic Architecture
Heritage buildings, decorative elements, ornate moldings—when the original craftsmen are long gone and the molds have been lost, we capture every detail digitally. Perfect replicas, made modern.

Recreate Discontinued Parts
Classic car panels. Legacy machine components. Parts that haven't been manufactured in decades. We scan what you have, then help you make what you need—in plastic, metal, or any material.

Preserve Art & Sculpture
Create an exact digital twin of sculptures, artifacts, and artwork. Use it for replication, archival, or to create scaled reproductions. The original stays safe—its digital twin lives forever.
If It Exists, We Can Scan It. If We Can Scan It, We Can Recreate It.
The part doesn't need drawings. The sculpture doesn't need a mold. The original doesn't even need to be in good condition. We extract the geometry digitally, then work with you to bring it back to life.
What This Means For You
- No drawings needed: We capture geometry directly from the physical object
- Scan once, make forever: Your digital file is kept on record for future orders
- Make improvements: Fix flaws, add features, or modify the design before manufacturing
- Any quantity: Whether you need 1 replacement or 1,000, we scale to your needs
- We come to you: For large or fragile items, our mobile scanning team visits your location
From Object to Replica in 4 Steps
You bring us the part, sculpture, or component. We handle the rest— scanning, cleanup, and manufacturing coordination.
Tell Us What You Need
Send photos of what you want scanned and what you're hoping to achieve. We'll advise on the best approach.
We Scan It
Drop it off at our Victoria shop, or we'll come to you. The scanning itself typically takes 30 minutes to a few hours.
Review
We clean up the scan and send you a preview. Need modifications? Our CAD team can adjust the design before manufacturing.
Delivery
We 3D print, coordinate manufacturing, or deliver the scan to you.
Can't Bring It to Us? We'll Bring the Scanner to You.
Some things can't be moved—vehicles in restoration, installed machinery, large sculptures, architectural elements still attached to buildings. That's why we offer on-site scanning across Victoria and Vancouver Island.
Our portable equipment captures the same high-resolution data in your garage, factory floor, museum, or job site. No risk of damage in transit. No disassembly required.
Perfect For
- Vehicles in restoration shops
- Machinery too large or heavy to transport
- Architectural details still on the building
- Fragile artwork and sculptures
Not Just Restoration
Reverse Engineering
Need to manufacture a part but don't have the drawings? We extract the geometry and our CAD team creates production-ready files.
Quality Inspection
Compare manufactured parts against CAD models. Identify wear, deformation, or manufacturing defects with precision.
Product Development
Digitize clay models, physical prototypes, or competitor products. Combine with our CAD services to iterate faster from a scanned baseline.
Digital Archiving
Create permanent digital records of artifacts, collections, or family heirlooms. The physical may age—the digital won't.
Technical Capabilities
For engineers, designers, and anyone who wants to know exactly what we're working with.
Accuracy
±0.02mm – ±0.3mm
Depending on object size and requirements. High-precision work achieves 0.02mm + 0.033mm/m volumetric accuracy.
Object Size
Coins to Cars
From tiny mechanical components up to ~5m³. Larger objects can be scanned in sections and stitched.
Technology
Laser & Structured Light
We select the right scanner for your object's size, surface finish, and required detail level.
Deliverables
STL, OBJ, STEP, IGES
Raw meshes for printing, or full parametric CAD models for manufacturing and modification.
Turnaround
1–5 business days
Simple scans in 1–2 days. Complex objects with CAD conversion may take up to 5 days.
Tricky Surfaces
No Problem
Shiny, black, or transparent? We use scanning sprays and specialized techniques—non-destructive and fully removable.
Common Questions
I have an old part with no drawings. Can you still help?
That's exactly what we specialize in. We scan the physical object directly—no drawings, CAD files, or documentation needed. We capture the geometry and create new files from scratch.
Can you scan something and then 3D print copies of it?
Yes—this is one of our most common workflows. We scan the object, clean up the digital file, and then produce as many copies as you need via 3D printing. You can also get the file to reorder later.
What if I want to modify the design before making copies?
We can do that. Once scanned, our CAD design team can convert the mesh into an editable model. From there, we can make modifications — fix damage, add features, change dimensions — before manufacturing.
My object is too large/fragile to bring in. Can you come to me?
Absolutely. We offer on-site scanning across Victoria and Vancouver Island. Whether it's a vehicle, machinery, or an installed architectural element, we bring the equipment to you.
What if my part is shiny, black, or transparent?
We can handle these tricky surfaces using specialized scanning sprays or matting techniques. They're non-destructive and fully removable—we won't damage your original.
How long does the whole process take?
Scanning itself typically takes 30 minutes to a few hours. For delivery: simple scans in 1–2 days, complex projects with CAD conversion in 3–5 days. Manufacturing time is additional depending on method.
How accurate are the replicas?
Our scans achieve ±0.1mm to ±0.3mm accuracy for most objects. For high-precision work, we can achieve ±0.02mm. The final part accuracy depends on the manufacturing method chosen.
Do I get to keep the digital file?
Yes—we provide you with the scan files in your preferred format. We also keep a copy on file, so if you need more parts in the future, there's no need to re-scan.
