TEDxVictoria organizers needed a collection of custom items, including a life-sized "VICTORIA" stage sign, smaller props, and hundreds of giveaway keychains, for an upcoming event. The production timeline was extremely short: every piece had to be designed, manufactured, and delivered within a tight deadline to ensure the stage design and attendee experience met TEDx standards.
Morin 3D devised a hybrid manufacturing strategy to meet the schedule. The oversized letters were produced through a mix of large-format printing and smaller, assembled 3D-printed sections that locked together seamlessly. At the same time, the team ran parallel production lines for stage props and a large batch of custom keychains, coordinating multiple machines and post-processing steps in concert. By managing all production streams concurrently, Morin 3D kept every item on track for the deadline.
The striking, life-size "VICTORIA" sign became the stage's focal point, while all props and keychains arrived on time and in perfect condition, contributing to a memorable event for speakers and attendees alike. The project showcased Morin 3D's agility and capacity to deliver diverse, high-impact pieces under significant time pressure.
